Monomaterial means that the packaging is made of only one type of material, thus facilitating the recycling process. Unlike products that are made of multiple materials, monomaterials do not need to be broken down into their various components. This increases the efficiency of recycling and reduces the likelihood of materials ending up in landfills.

We have taken the opportunity to improve not only our packaging but also the recipe of our snacks. The quality of our products remains our top priority. While pure fillet is considered very high quality by humans, dogs and cats require a comprehensive supply of all the nutrients from the meat to fully and naturally meet their needs. Our advanced processing methods now allow us to process meat with a more balanced nutrient profile, which was not possible before. This approach reflects our commitment to sustainability and environmental awareness.

Some of our snacks contain a modified fat content to provide your four-legged friend with additional energy and an improved, rich taste. This carefully adapted recipe not only supports your pet's vitality, but also promotes a shiny coat and general health. The high meat content of 95% in our snacks naturally leads to a correspondingly increased fat content.

Our recipe is now supplemented with 5% valuable vegetable protein. For example, we use peas, which are rich in zinc and selenium. These minerals can strengthen the immune system and support important metabolic processes. In addition to protein, peas also contain fiber, vitamins and minerals such as iron, potassium and vitamin C. These nutrients contribute to the general health and vitality of dogs and cats. In addition, the addition of pea protein in our snacks helps to maintain the optimal consistency. It serves as a natural binding agent and texture enhancer to improve the structure and consistency of a snack. It helps to hold the ingredients in the snack together and create a pleasant texture. This allows us to better shape, cut and offer our snacks in different shapes and sizes. Peas contain a high proportion of vegetable protein. Protein is an essential nutrient for dogs as it helps build and repair tissue, including muscles. Pea protein contains a balanced mix of amino acids that are essential for dogs. Dogs require various amino acids to meet their health needs, and pea protein can help meet these requirements.

Yes, since we place great value on natural ingredients, especially when it comes to fresh meat, there may be slight color variations in the snacks from time to time. As part of the switch to the new production facilities, we have also switched to reliable meat suppliers in order to increase our product availability and to continue to be your reliable supplier of high-quality meat products for dogs and cats. Since meat is a natural raw material, occasional deviations in terms of visual and olfactory impressions cannot be ruled out.

Our snacks are of course still grain-free. To make this clear, we have now placed the icon on the packaging. This means that this benefit is immediately apparent to everyone.

The slight size differences in our Trainee Snacks are due to manual cutting and shaping during the manufacturing process. While fully automated production often ensures a very uniform size of the products, our artisanal processing allows each snack to retain its individual touch. These variations do not affect the quality of our snacks; rather, we see them as proof of the natural character and authenticity of our products.
